Shared facts from one experience
Experience provided by the applicant
- Project and dates
September to December 2025: a campus library reservation app built in a software engineering course.
- Team and personal responsibilities
Four-person team. The applicant was a member responsible for backend interfaces, the database, and organizing integration information.
- Problem encountered
Different interpretations of reservation times, book status, and error response rules caused the screen and backend to produce different results for the same action.
- Personal actions
Organized operation steps and checked fields, types, blank values, and error responses one by one; adjusted reservation and cancellation interfaces, added input checks, and recorded edge cases.
- Team results
Checked 28 input combinations and recorded and fixed three types of mismatch. The team presented a working version on schedule at the end of the term and submitted interface documentation and test records.
- Scope of results
A class presentation. No evidence of a production launch, user numbers, or commercial benefit was provided.
