• "A Sweet and Calorie-free Bacillus!?": Production of L-glucose in B. subtilis 中村 顕, 吉田 健一, 矢嶋 俊介 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 基盤研究(B), 筑波大学, 2016年04月01日 - 2020年03月31日 本研究は新規イノシトール代謝経路とL-グルコース代謝経路を組み合わせることにより、安価なmyo-イノシトールを原料として非消化性のL-グルコースを醗酵生産する系を、枯草菌を宿主に確立することを目指した。自身が持つイノシトール代謝経路を破壊した枯草菌を宿主にiolM, iolN, lgnHを発現させ、L-グルコン酸を生産する系の構築を目指したが、導入遺伝子の発現量不足のため、産物の検出には至らなかった。 並行してL-グルコースデヒドロゲナーゼの立体構造解析と改変に取り組み、R178残基がイノシトールに対する活性に必須であることを明らかにした。2016 · KUID parsed section
