• 蛋白質構造決定のための多核種多次元NMRだけではなく，相互作用解析や運動性の解析,外部環境に応じた生体物質の構造変化などの物性研究に，いろいろなNMR測定手法を積極的に応用する．また，そのための試料作成方法の工夫も行う．研究課題
• 生体内ではさまざまな蛋白質や核酸が相互作用することによって多様な機能が調節され調和が保たれている．これら複雑な機能スイッチのオン・オフは，複合体の形成やリン酸化・メチル化などの化学修飾の有無，イオンの結合／解離などによって生体物質が構造変化を起こすことで制御されている．NMRを中心とした分析手法を駆使してこのような機能を担う蛋白質の構造と物性を研究し，生体内信号伝達の仕組みを原子分解能で解明する．研究課題
