Coincheck, Inc.

Coincheck is a major Japanese crypto-asset exchange operator within Monex Group. After the industry-shaking theft of NEM tokens in 2018, it was acquired and restructured by Monex. Its overseas holding company, Coincheck Group N.V., has since listed on Nasdaq through a SPAC merger under the ticker CNCK, and in 2026 the group also received investment from KDDI and established a new joint venture. It is a fintech company with a history of a major security incident that is now expanding through group integration and international capital markets.
