- Respect for source rules: we work from publicly accessible materials and respect each source's terms, rights notices and citation rules within reason.

- Government and public bodies: MEXT, the Immigration Services Agency, MOFA, MHLW, the National Tax Agency, the Japan Pension Service, municipalities, JASSO, Study in Japan, etc.

3. Academic, Faculty and University Data
Information on professors and researchers, topics, papers, grants, affiliations and fields derives mainly from official university sites, researchmap, KAKEN and CiNii Research, normalized for display with source labels or links where possible. The database currently covers public academic information for roughly 830 universities and 280,000 researchers, with large-scale indices of papers and grants, and is continuously extended and refreshed.
Research interests, student intake, contact details and recruiting intentions change quickly, sometimes only on lab pages or in the latest guidelines. Always reconfirm the latest information from the school and lab before contacting a professor or applying. If you are the data subject, you can request correction or removal via Section 13.
4. Admissions and Application-Guideline Data
Information on school selection, eligibility, exam subjects, application materials, tuition, scholarships and timelines draws mainly on public explanations by universities, graduate schools, admissions offices, JASSO and Study in Japan. These pages change frequently by year, admission track and applicant category.
- Checklists, reminders, budget and schedule tools are preparation aids and guarantee no admission, eligibility or visa outcome;
- Where our display differs from an official PDF, notice or email, the official document always prevails;
- Requirements can differ completely across graduate schools, majors and admission tracks of the same university — verify each item along your own path.
5. Career, Company and Industry Data; Company Deep-Dive Reports
Industry and role research, company research and company deep-dive reports reference public materials: corporate sites, recruiting pages, IR and statutory disclosures, public postings, industry reports and news. Deep-dive reports are built on public information, drafted with AI assistance and checked editorially; coverage grows continuously and reports are revisited on an annual rhythm.
- Items that drift over time (selection flows, compensation, hiring plans) carry re-check notices — always confirm via the company's official channels;
- Reviews and anecdotes are subjective and sampled with bias; treat them as auxiliary observations only;
- AI-generated company research, interview advice and motivation drafts organize your thinking and guarantee no selection outcome.
6. Dojo Practice-Question Provenance
Every practice question in the Exam Dojo carries per-item source and copyright status. Source types are: original questions authored by the operator with reference to public syllabi and formats; officially published past questions used under their public terms; adaptations based on public information; and licensed items. Officially published or licensed items carry attribution or links.
- Practice questions are for practice and self-checking; they are not reproductions of any current live exam and do not represent actual exam scope or difficulty;
- Questions and explanations may contain errors; the organizing body's official materials are authoritative;
- Rights holders who consider an item's use inappropriate can contact us via Section 13; we will review and correct, attribute or remove as appropriate.
7. Life and Administrative-Procedure Data
Content on pre-departure, entry, residence, resident registration, insurance, pension, tax, housing, telecom, banking, transport and safety references public explanations by authorities, municipalities, public bodies and school guides. Cost estimates and budget tools depend on region, exchange rates, personal habits and policy changes — treat them as estimation frameworks, not fixed quotes or administrative commitments.
8. Limits of AI-Assisted Collection and Generation
We may use AI to assist discovery, extraction, translation, summarization, classification, deduplication, field completion, comparison and report generation. AI processing is not itself an authoritative source and does not mean content has been officially confirmed or human-reviewed line by line.
- AI-generated content may misread, over-generalize, omit or lag;
- For high-impact matters — eligibility, deadlines, costs, residence/visa, hiring terms — rely on the latest official pages and formal documents;
- We continuously improve source retention, nature labeling and human review.
9. Use of User-Provided Materials
Materials you upload, paste or enter are used only within the relevant feature to provide you analysis, rewriting, review, matching or planning. Ensure you have the right to submit them, and avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information, third-party personal data or content under confidentiality obligations. Handling and retention follow the Privacy Policy.
10. Attribution, Links and Traceability
Depending on content type, we show source names, links, labels, update times or statuses such as “needs confirmation” to help you judge origin and reliability. Content synthesized from multiple sources or AI summarization cannot always display a complete source chain. External links are for verification and further reading and imply no partnership, license or endorsement.
11. Freshness and Verifying High-Impact Information
Public information and rules change constantly — especially admission years, deadlines, language requirements, tuition, scholarships, residence/visa, tax and insurance, and corporate selection flows. A displayed update time does not mean every field was officially re-verified on that date. Before acting, consult official pages and the latest formal documents, and where needed qualified professionals: school offices, authorities, administrative scriveners, attorneys, tax accountants or career advisors.
The school, researcher and academic-record counts shown on the homepage and in the Data Center are conservative lower bounds from a database snapshot dated 2026-06-12; they change only when the data is refreshed and are not live figures.
The question-bank count is the number of questions selectable by at least one current learning route. It moves as questions are added, and the catalog's live value governs.
12. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Rights
We claim no rights over third-party public materials, databases, trademarks, institution or company names, bibliographic records or official documents; rights remain with their holders. Our use of public materials aims at indexing, linking, factual curation, summarization, comparison and learning support, avoiding unnecessary reproduction of protected content.
13. Corrections, Takedowns and Contact
If you find information that is inaccurate, outdated or unclear in origin — or you are a data subject (a researcher, their institution, a company, a question rights-holder) who sees a problem with a display — you may request correction, added attribution, restricted display or removal. To help us verify, please include the page URL, a description, suggested corrections, links to verifiable official sources, and your relationship to the information.
