Gurunavi is one of Japan's longest-established operators of restaurant information and reservation platforms, having launched in 1996. It is now a TSE-listed company under securities code 2440, with Rakuten Group as its largest shareholder at approximately 16.44%, and is closely integrated with the Rakuten ecosystem. Its main business is a B2B2C platform model that charges restaurants participation and reservation fees. The company returned to profit in the fiscal year ended March 2025 for the first time in five years, but its overall scale and growth rate now clearly trail Tabelog, operated by Kakaku.com, in the same market.
