J-OIL MILLS, Inc. (JOYL) is a major edible-oil company in the Ajinomoto Group. It was created through the merger of three predecessor companies—Honen, Ajinomoto Oil Mills, and Yoshihara Oil Mill—and operates in edible oils, including consumer AJINOMOTO oils and commercial oils and fats, oilseed meal, starch, food products, feed, and fertilizer. Its business spans both food and the chemistry of oils, fats, and starch. It is a direct competitor of Nisshin OilliO and belongs to the Ajinomoto Group.
