Okamura is a space and furniture manufacturer founded in 1945 as Okamura Seisakusho and renamed in 2018. It is a top-tier office furniture company in Japan, alongside KOKUYO and ITOKI, but its real distinction lies in three business pillars: office environments, commercial environments for stores, and logistics systems such as automated warehouses and material handling. It provides integrated services from spatial design to furniture manufacturing, construction, and workplace consulting, and also operates a Powertrain business that performs contract machining of automotive components. Note that it is a completely separate and unrelated company from Okamura Foods Co., Ltd. (オカムラ食品工業), the seafood company.
