Sotetsu Holdings, Inc.

Sotetsu Holdings is not “Sagami Railway, the company that runs trains.” It is a pure holding company created through the 2009–2010 separation and restructuring of the former Sagami Railway. Its four main business areas are transportation, including Sagami Railway and Sotetsu Bus; retail, including Sotetsu Rosen supermarkets and station retail; real estate, including development, leasing, and brokerage; and hotels, including Yokohama Bay Sheraton and Sotetsu Fresa Inn. Headquartered in Nishi Ward, Yokohama, its new-graduate Generalist career track is a separate recruiting channel from that of the railway operating subsidiary Sagami Railway.
