TOYO TIRE, formerly Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd., is a multinational tire and rubber products company. Its defining strengths are the TOYO TIRES and NITTO brands and its position in the North American market, particularly in light-truck tires for SUVs and pickups. In addition to tires, it produces automotive parts such as anti-vibration rubber. It is one of Japan's major tire manufacturers, behind Bridgestone, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, and Yokohama Rubber, with a differentiated focus on North America and SUVs. The company is headquartered in Itami, Hyogo Prefecture, and its fiscal year ends in December.
