Watami Co., Ltd.

Watami is a food-service group that combines izakaya dining with home-delivery meals. Its defining feature is a two-pillar structure of food service, including izakaya restaurants, and Watami no Takushoku, with home delivery now the main business. Alongside brands such as Miraizaka and Yakiniku no Watami, it operates a dietitian-supervised boxed-meal delivery service for older adults and households that has become the main revenue contributor, while also expanding into overseas, environmental, and agricultural businesses linked to the SDGs. The company is headquartered in Haneda, Tokyo, and was founded by Miki Watanabe.
