Yamaha Corporation

Yamaha is a diversified manufacturer centered on sound and music. It is one of the world's largest musical instrument makers, with products including pianos, wind instruments, guitars and electronic instruments, while also operating in audio equipment such as AV, PA and professional audio, semiconductors and electronic devices such as sound-source LSIs, and sound- and music-related services such as music schools. It is not simply an instrument company; it integrates sound-and-music technology and culture from components through content. Be sure to distinguish it from Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., the separate independent company that makes motorcycles and outboard motors.
