It is Japan's second-largest automotive-supplies specialty retail group by revenue, behind Autobacs Seven, combining chain-store retail with maintenance services. Its operations cover automotive consumables such as tires, engine oil, and batteries, as well as on-site pit work including vehicle inspections and maintenance. The group also operates related motorcycle businesses through 2 Rinkan and Bike Kan and bicycle businesses through Y's Road. In many regions, stores are run by regional subsidiaries named in the pattern “Regional Name Yellow Hat” rather than directly by the parent company.
